ESCUALO 5

are five Soloists from five different countries with a world of ideas. The  international renowned musicians met all in Munich, the city that is the core of their lives, and decided to join forces for a common passion: the music of Astor Piazzolla.

Joining the two Grammy Award Winners, Franz Halász on the guitar and Débora Halász at the piano, Escualo5 features the violinist Iason Keramidis, accordionist Alexander Kuralionok and the double bass player Philipp Stubenrauch. 

Following the compilation of Piazzolla's Quinteto Tango Nuevo , Escualo5  uses the large experience and the  classical background to explore this repertoire to an absolut perfection and create a true to original happening.   Their live interpretations of Piazzolla's works lead the audience to total ecstasy, a real delusion, driven by the rhythmic precision and expressive temperament of its 5 members.

Virtuosos in their own Instruments, they bring together the talent to improvise, arrange and compose, which makes their performance  a unique acoustic experience.
